Leona/Diana Charity Fanzine

Hello and welcome to the Leodia Charity Fanzine. We are aiming to produce a collaborative digital-only charity zine.The zine will focus on relationship between Leona and Diana of League Of Legends. It is a __SFW ONLY zine.__All proceeds from the zine and digital merchandise will go to a charity of the contributors choice. For any physical merchandise, all profits will be given to the chosen charity__We encourage all kinds of creatives to apply! __
We have our “artist”, “writer” and "cosplay" applications, which are fairly self explanatory, but we also have an “other” form, which can encompass anything that you create that doesn’t fall into those categories! For example, perhaps you make papercraft or other physical fan creations you’d like to photograph and submit, or maybe you’d like to write an magazine style piece, or a leodia themed recipe!The zine is scheduled to go on sale on the 1st December 2021, and will be available for purchase on gumroad until the 14th January 2022 After this, the money will be donated to Proud2be and MindOut, and receipts will be provided both in the discord server and on our public twitter.

Rules

All proceeds of the zine are going to charity, and therefore we are unfortunately unable to offer financial compensation for your submission.There is no age limit for this zine! But please be at least 13 years old if you are making an application, as this is the required age to use twitter/discord etc.Feel free to submit more than one application (ie, writer and other, artist and writer etc) if you would like to be considered for more than one subject matter, but be aware you will most likely only get picked for one form of submissionGeneral rule: We have a zero tolerance policy for racism, homophobia, transphobia, and other forms of bigotry. If you behave in this way in the server, you will be removed, and if you are a contributor and it is brought to our attention that you are posting this kind of content on your platforms, you will be removed from the zineGeneral rule: The zine, and the server, both follow the same no NSFW rules. If you do not abide by these rules, and repeatedly bring NSFW content into the server, you will be removed from the server and the zine, in the case of a contributor. If you wish to discuss NSFW materials, please do so in private.Deadline rule: Our deadline for completed, ready to go work is November 14th. Please do not apply if you will not be able to complete your piece by this date. (Of course, you are more than welcome to submit early, and small extensions can be provided circumstantially, but please consider November 14th to be the final deadline.)Deadline rule: You must show evidence of progress on your piece by each due date. If you are unable to, please let us know! Lack of communication about missed deadlines may result in you being removed from the zine.Creator: Creators who are successful with their application will be asked to provide a square icon for our contributor page.Content rule: The standard allocation of pages will be one for an artist, two for a comic, approximately two pages of text to a writer, and for other specialties, pages will be allocated on a case by case basis. Everyone is more than welcome to pitch for/request extra pages. Required dimensions will be provided upon acceptance into the zine.Content rule: Your work should explore the relationship between Leona and Diana, be it in a romantic or platonic way. Other LoL characters may also be featured, but should not be the focal point of your work.Content rule: PDA (public displays of affection) in your work is absolutely allowed! If you intend to create suggestive content it will need mod approval, but there should be
NO NSFW!Content rule: “Race-bending”, body-type changes, and otherwise original adaptations of the character are encouraged but by no means required. Outfits also fall under this.Content rule: Please no character hate. If you dislike a character that’s fine, but don’t let it be reflected in your work.Content rule: We ask that the content you provide for the zine is new work, not something previously created/posted online/sold, and that you please do not post your completed work until the 30th January 2022 at the earliest, as posting sooner may discourage people from buying the zine. However, posting WIPS and small previews on your social media is encouraged and can be done at any time.Content rule: For artists, both digital and traditional work is welcome, but traditional work must be able to be photographed or scanned to a high standard (ie. not blurry/no shadow of camera).Ideally, please have a discord account and be available for check-ins on discord - If there is a reason you are unable to set up/maintain a discord account, please get in touch, as we may be able to accommodate you via emailSubmissions of writing in foreign languages are welcome! But please be prepared to provide a brief summary of the contents to the mods in English so we can be sure that the work meets our guidelines.

July 14-25th: Interest check
July 26th: Applications open
August 15th: Applications close
August 16-22nd: Moderation of submissions (this may take longer if we receive a large number of applicants)
August 23-24th: Contacting creators via email/social media, inviting to discord server etc.
Production starts!
September 24th: First check-in, you need to have a WIP by this point.
October 24th: Second check-in, you should have something near finished by this point, as it’s 3 weeks before the final deadline
November 14th: Deadline for completed submissions
December 1st: Zine goes live!
